Has Honor progress frozen?
I recall a few months before season's start, I played the game for... oh, let's say a week. It was awhile ago. I was coming back to it because a couple friends were interested in the game. It took me about three days to get to honor 3. And while yes, I was getting honored by one of my friends every game, hear me out.
Now, I've been playing the game off and on for about three weeks, two days at a time, usually a day or two break between. I've been playing mostly alone the whole time, yet I still get between 1-3 honors per match, very rarely getting 0 and often getting 2. The only differences I can see between how I'm playing now and how I played before are these -
- I'm playing a lot of ARAM.
- I'm playing without friends.
Judging by Riot's previous statements with the Honor system of 'friend honors being worth less than rando honors,' I should be progressing at about the same rate I was before, given I'm getting more honors alone on ARAM than I was with my friends on SR. Yet I have been honor 2 milestone 2, working on milestone 3, since season's start. I'm quite curious to know why I'm not honor 3 yet. =/ Did they increase the time between honor levels or something? I could see myself getting reported for a couple of the games I've played, but IIRC reports only affect honor if there's a punishment doled out for them, and I haven't had even so much as a warning email.
