it takes a literal gamebreaking 58 percent winrate champion that NO ONE can ignore to get it through to this playerbase that toplane has an abject problem.

Let's calm down a little bit. She has 54,8% winrate NOT 58%. And her pick rate is 1,3%.

Now let's put that into a bit of context.

ASol has the same pickrate in mid but with 57% winrate. That's way higher than Sona's 54,8%.

Soraka in the top lane has almost 7 times sona's pick rate (at 8,3%, thanks wunder, really) with a 56,6% winrate.

Sona is not a problem (at least for now) simply because you may encounter her once in every 200 games. (he pickrate is 1,3% but since you as a top laner aren't picking her it's half the 1,3% for your specific games)

Let's deal with actual problems please. Instead of gangbanging sona everywhere she somehow finds a way to be viable.

Just follow the circlejerk and call top laners crybabies when they say top lane is a bad lane that's problematic

Remember, Hashinshin got like 3 pentas in his 300 games since the season started and he climbed from gold to diamond 1, clearly top lane is broken

The problem is that top lane is the lowest impact role in the game, so much so that picking a second support and helping the players that actually matter is far more effective than actually trying to effect the game yourself.

Kneecapping Soraka and Sona might be necessary but it’s not going to solve the underlying problems.

The only real way to fix top would be to severely nerf drag and damage. Moreover Drag tho. Its not that Soraka or Sona are OP, its just the game heavily heavily favors who wins bot lane/jg since Drags are so important to the outcome. Combine that with how bursty and snowbally the game is and basically top's influence on the game is basically 0. So it's better to take a secondary support top and bring more utility to the game in heals and silences than it is a traditional top laner like nas or something since by the time they scale the game is pretty much over. Plus the fact soraka can get free assist via her heal which is global makes her im particular even more potent tho sona brings more "carriability" to the game

Meanwhile, we need to figure out how to force champions into the jungle role because we've arbitrarily decided they should be junglers now! /s

Top lane aint an island its an isolated shit storm

Top lanes controlled more by junglers then the laners. And the constant random nerfs to vision don't help either.

So generally atm the safer the top laner the better. And sense enchanters aren't item reliant to be useful you can kinda just sit under tower and force then to either commit a bunch of effort to kill you or just ignore you and even if they do kill you your still fine unlike most top laners who once they die once the lane is basically over.

Its much less enchanters are op top and alot more riot has ignored tops problems for so long that the best thing to do is just afk in top for 15 mins and remove the other top laner and junglers ability to interact with you.

And idk how the fuck riot will fix it because i think well be seeing more and more supports in top soon.

Don't worry. After they succession nerf all enchanters and destroy support for utility roles, Support MAGES will go top and receive similar nerfs.

And then it'll be adc tops.

All because junglers are forced to focus their jungle and bot for Drakes. All because for some reason, there's a meme-flood of top role off-meta play which is scaring Riot, even though these supports are only doing 50-51% in Support.....

All because the bot lane Support role now has income cut off about when you reach 2400 gold, and the rest of all gold income comes from kills/assists, and a tiny amount of passive generation.
