Just an idea of what from Veiger's W (Event Horizon)

IMO it was always a terrible idea to have it being a long ranged auto stun that can disable an entire team in an instant but its kind of something Veigar needs, as shown with his massive winrate drop.

So why not just make it so Veigar can't cast it as an AOE stun or whatever it is right now. Make it so that when you used your W it just puts a field around veigar instantly. While it would pretty much crap down the necks of melees, its not like he didn't do that before and even now.

This actually allows people a chance to bait it out with a false engage or a jump scare with Veigar also having a great stun for where he wants to go all in.

Imagine his W being casted like this and only like this. It gives him protection and a stun and allows him to use it for many other types of play rather than an awkward attack.

Pretty much i'm just saying make Event Horizon less offensive by only allow Veigar to place it around himself. Veigar Players still get their stun, Riot and us non-Veigar mains still have a chance and everyone is happy. Well...happy enough.

As much as Veigar Players might not want to say it, his W was extremely powerful and did need changes. Also as much as Riot might now believe it these kind of changes done, (atleast to his W) aren't the way to go about it.

I'm not a heavy Veigar player. The only times i've ever played him was in a free week and when i was on the PBE testing out these changes and Final Boss skin. On paper his changes sounded GENIUS but their effects has lead to a sudden spike of DotA players.

Remember, this is just my two cents on what Riot should do about him from the perspective of someone who hates Veigar's ability to auto SMASH anyone I can say that he needs balance. As far as i've seen Riot has just thrown him on the other side of the seesaw.
