A very quick reminder about statistic and the board on "Board is a minority"
A very big reason that the surveys made by Riot will always ALWAYS have value compared to the amount of topic here, even with a lot of upvotes/agreement, is very simple.
The sample.
If the majority of person going into the gameplay board do it to complain (be it in a very constructive or not constructive way, be it that they are right or wrong), it mean that the sample here is 'biased' by itself, it is not representative of the league population. If I interrogate 100 persons who dislike the state of the game and I ask them "Do you like the current state of the game", what is going to happen?
Generally, the very big majority will answer no.
It is as logical as me interrogating 100 female player, asking them if they are woman and then say "98% of the sample answered that they are women, therefore the board is mainly composed of women.".
Survey take everyone, from Jo the league enthusiast to Jimmy the wukong addict who hate how Riot didn't update him to Michelle who is a scripter to Angela who got tchat restrict for the 134 time.
A sample HAS to make sense.
If i want to know "WHY do you feel bad about the state of the game", who will I interrogate? Player who love the game currently or the board?
If I want to know how the french community feel about the game, do I go to the NA board?
It is just my 2 cents but I wanted to share this as someone who work in statistics. Because honestly, the "Board is a minority" is maybe dismissive or an excuse, but it is damn true XD
