It would make sense if Lux could blink to pick up her staff when its at max distance from her when she throws her W.
New - W - Lux can now press W again when the projectile reaches max distance in order to blink to it.
It would be a pretty fun mechanic for lux, to decide between the shield or the blink-away She would turn into light and come back at the other end to pick it up before the W comes back.

She has so much in her arsenal. I feel like with the new skin more people are playing her and finding her not as good as they thought even though she's already in such a good spot.
