When are we getting the 5 ban per side???

Its due Riot, It's due. I don't care if the 5 bans per side will show how only a few champions are viable or how it will shift the meta or require people to be more skilled. But Dota2 has 5 bans per side and less heroes, SMITE has less gods than Dota2 and has 4 bans per side. And this game has like a billion champions and only 3 bans per side?

I want each player to have a ban. I want to live the day where le balanced HASAGI Ton cancer free wind crit samurai man and le balance high mobility no mana wind cancer lady never see the light of day.

What if you could add two more, that would be the bans now. All the little shit noobs who see the boards complaining about Yasuo will flood this game and ban him. He is balanced, people just need to fucking learn to play him and against him.

It works in Dota 2 because it has snake pick, it also only has a slightly smaller number of champions. Though snake pick in LoL would be really cool too and could make some champs less annoying. See them drafting a Yasuo comp? Ban Yasuo, if Yasuo is picked you can ban the champs that have the best synergy with him (a lot of them are strong too right now as a bonus).

Otherwise we will just pick the next 10 broken champions, people will still QQ and the cycle will repeat.

Actually especially in plat and sometimes low diamond you find a ton of one trick Riven mains because they've got mechanics and are good at a champion like Riven who can carry super hard and is dominant in lane, but once they fall behind they're garbage because their decision making is bad, and they try to play every champion like Riven.

You know they're a Riven main when they get into game and pull some ridiculous shit like flashing onto you when you're 60% hp as morde or some shit. Riven one tricks are not uncommon in plat and since she's an annoyance in a lot of matchups banning her isn't a terrible idea in most cases.

There's ways around that. Letting two people on the same team ban simultaneously helps, as would allowing players to queue their bans up (similar to pick intent).

Riot members never said this was guaranteed. They said they would be looking into it and discussing it. They also said that if they make any changes to bans it would be at the art of season 7, not the preaseason. So we just have to wait and see.

And then the last 2 members suffer the same problem, they can get counter picked, they don't get the bans they want. You also then have a higher chance of the last 2 team mates AFKing during champ select, because they don't have to be there to pay attention for a long time.

First picks get first dibs at the priority picks, so it's not like they get nothing.

Also, you should get in the habbit of offering to pick a champ for someone else and trade it (when the power picks are banned) so you are less likely to be counterpicked.

Honestly, that scares me quite frankly. Mid / Top laners are targeted in my queues. I main Lux in the mid lane (and with the attention she has been getting because of her ultimate) has me a tad worried that she'd get banned harder now.

Lux 0.2% Ban rate... literally 0.2% you have absolutely nothing to worry about, no-one bans frigging lux. Lux "getting banned harder" would be her having a 0.4% ban rate. Lux is less banned than Galio Galio

Now i main Zed , um yeah, that's the only thing i'm worried about, my chances of perma ban are pretty high, but i think i would still like 5 bans regardless.
