So Is Riot intentionally not releasing Elementalist Lux to screw with everyone's head? The true Lux fans will understand this post, we've been fed mis-information over and over again about her being released, and today was supposed to be the day - and here we are, mid afternoon, and still nothing. What is the deal?
GiveMeUrMilk6 votesI wasn't aware they promised the skin to come out today. Skins release on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Riot did not release it last week because of the Holidays. Because Riot HQ is in LA, they celebrate Thanksgiving, and a lot of Employees head out home across the country for that. It makes sense that they wouldn't want to release it that week due to there being no to very little staff to handle any issues with the skin that may pop up over the weekend. That is why it wasn't released last week. And for as much hype as the skin has, you can't expect Riot to break a schedule just because players want something NOW. Learn to be patient. It is coming. It is coming soon. So until it comes, can these threads please just stop.

I was wondering who started the rumor that it'd be released today. I heard the rumor yesterday evening on someone's stream. For the sake of my sanity, I'm just gonna tell myself it's coming Thursday — not today, not tomorrow, not Wednesday — but Thursday.

Packun Flower3 votesSkin releases have been really late as of lately. The world breaker skins were late by a few days, the RPG skins were late by a week and the Poppy/Braum Chroma were late by a whole patch. Now Elementelist Lux is late as well.
Dunno whats going on over there but its getting kind of annoying.

It's not the end of the world - Lux has been my main ever since her release when she was considered awful and a support only. I'm busy tonight but even I can manage to wait until tomorrow to get the skin (and proceed to see all the horrible Lux players)

People who played when Pulse fire came out understand my pain. Magically so many "ezreal" mains came about.

Risk of Fate1 votesOkay, these are just my thoughts and I may not be 100% accurate as this is based off my own personal experiences, BUT I think it's because lack of feedback on the PBE as more people are inclined to test out new champions instead of skins. I was still maining her at the time when I got my access and only play on it every few weeks or so.
However, that being said, I can usually get a game with her and her new skin as everyone else was fighting over Camille. I went on there when she was released because the first couple of days, I say good luck because everyone instalocks things in blind pick. I gave feedback on Arcade Ahri, the Lux W changes and a few other things, but it seems that people treat that place more like norms instead of a grounds for testing bugs.
Okay, I get we're supposed to play actual matches, but whenever I find a bug, I can never get the enemy team/my team to cooperate to see if it's just me or it's a global thing. With a skin as complicated as Elementalist, it'd be extremely difficult to get enough feedback from the ~1000 people who play on there, about 1% who are going to go into a match with that skin.
