Veigar DFG Compensation Ideas

hello, i main veigar....I got from Plat 5 to Plat 3 playing him (didn't play him in gold) and have some ideas for compensation buffs, Im just going to talk about what i'd like to see on him. Since removing DFG will definitely will cut down him damage.....in return, increasing his overall ratios will scale off too nicely late game (TOO OP, bad idea).

First idea: I think the best thing to do is lower his CD on W...in team fights it'll allow me to W on enemies from my team's CC as well as my stun (instead of saving up for hitting multiple targets exclusively with my stuns).......and i can also use it strategically to block peoples paths (zone enemy ADC for 1.2 seconds)

The Main reason i play veigar is for his 2.5 second AOE STUN.....PLEASE DONT TOUCH THAT. it took me many normal games to be able to land it instantly 8/10 times...if you make it even easier to land, it'll eventually have to get nerfed in terms of duration or size :(

Reducing CD on Q will make it very easy to snowball especially if you win lane (also TOO OP, bad idea).

Second idea: Reduce mana costs (dosn't have to be on Q), already veigar's mana needs to be conserved....but not being able to 1 shot people as early as now would mean that after my spells i'll be spaming Q in a fight every 4 seconds (sort of like Annie)

Third idea: a bad one too, but increase the ratio on Q: from 60% to 80%....so i don't get out traded lane against Annie ;(

These are just my ideas, let me know what you guys think.

veigar is still a problematic champion i mean i feel like if they remove deathfire and veigar remain untouched he will be played more cause no other midlaners can do what he does now so i feel like rito need to wait patch 5.3 for see if veigar need buffs or not

Honestly, there are 2 possible boosts I'd recommend:

A) I'd keep the Q CD/mana cost the same and just give it an AP boost of 2 per minion kill.

or

B) Increase the speed of his W's projectile, giving enemies less time to dodge it.

Right, I'd like to see the speed of the W drop increase with extra ranks in it, at least up to the point where if you land a max rank stun on someone with mercury treads and drop the w on them immediately they won't be able to move before it lands on them but preferably enough to do the same with a max rank w and rank 1 stun (I can dream).
