MYMU makes some mages LESS satisfying/rewarding.

The skillcaps of some of the rewarding mages that we've poured HOURS into mastering are being trashed. New players are going to pick them up and be able to do the same things we can, and conversely we'll be forced to play at a lower level because potential is being taken away.

How will that make me feel satisfied? How will that make me feel as a player? It makes me feel like time I put into the game isn't valuable. I don't care if the skill-cap gets higher. In fact, many of us would be happy to feel as though we were being rewarded for our time.

I've played 300+ games of Zyra and spent many of them learning my plant-timings and how to outplay assassins. I don't want to be a brain-dead champion made to spawn plants. I want to control the environment. Randomly spawning seeds don't give me control. Keep RNG out of my champion. Keep my champion based on skill. Reward me for all the time I've spent learning who she is and what she wants to do by asking what I (and other [mage] mains) what the strengths/weaknesses of our champions are.

Where are the places where we were asked what we feel the strengths/weaknesses of these champions are? What about what we find satisfying when playing these champions?

Before the MYMU comes to live or is changed on the PBE can someone PLEASE listen to what the players of these champions see? I seriously doubt everyone at Riot is a Zyra Syndra Viktor Fiddlesticks one-trick-pony/main.

Oh, but they did. Just look at the newest PBE patch. Syndra got Dark Sphere AP ratio increased by 0.05, because that's the problem with Syndra on PBE!

Bunch of dimwits.

I seriously doubt anybody at Riot is a Zyra Syndra Viktor Fiddlesticks one-trick-pony/main.

Riot kinda never cared about their long-time players. You're already playing, hooked and buying stuff. They want NEW players. They want 15 year old Johnny to get all his friends together and play. They want him to play ranked because "climbing is easy" and "Steve is good, he can carry us to gold!". They want more people and newer people buying RP and they want them to bring in MORE people still.

Older players? They're not concerned with us. The game isn't FOR us. It's not for the guy who works for a living and plays solo queue in the evenings or on the weekend. They're not for the guy who hasn't got a class full of friends who play the game too and are all chock FULL of free time. It's not for us anymore. It's for the new kids to run around, spam laugh and "rekt" and troll with their friends. None of them know how bad release Xin was. None remember the dunk squad. None of them fondly remember heart of gold or stacking sunfire capes.

Sorry dude, but the game isn't for you anymore. It's for your kid, or your younger brother... or that annoying little pecker that lives across the street.

Yes, except people who are good at high skill cap champions tend to crowd out the people who main simplistic champions. It's hard to out play someone who has godlike mechanics at a champion that is far more mechanical than yours

xerath and azir are the only mages that take any skill.
