Why remove sylas animations cancels and not rivens?

I'm not some sylas main crying I like the champ he's fun and I play him sometimes but I find it so unfair to remove his cancels while keeps rivens? This is a clear unfair treatment it's not that riven is some bastion of balance or sth. she can be easily considered as problematic as sylas. One thing in this game that is for sure is how u can die to an enemy u almost had but your animation took too long. We went from cancels are bugs to feature and when someone else apart from riven has it then it's removed while she still has them. We either make it a feature for all or we make it a bug as it should be and remove it from all. This is a clear unfair treatment and an obvious special treatment to riven. Ofc my post won't reach any rioters eye and even if it is they'll ignore cuz they already know I just wanna know if I'm the only one thinking like this. Thanks for ready lads

Gangplank Eats Oranges. Goes through full animation. Sound Plays. Still dies because the healing isn't until after all of those things happen.

Because Riven mains are the whiniest in all of League's community.

If one ever gets beat, they blame it on ping, slow internet, game lag, and they still call you trash and rage all game, typically AFKing or feeding.

Their champion is broken, as are they. Last time Riven got touched it caused so much outrage from the few mains, Riot reverted it.

Can't touch their special snowflake champion.

animation cancels shouldnt be a thing imo. its just unfun and hidden power and makes champ outperform. thats why riven is overtuned. shes balanced around kinda doing it, but if you didnt you'd do fine. if you did it 24/7 you are busted.

wish they just removed them. one i dislike is the fizz animation cancel on his ult. if he dashes into ult there is no animation of him throwing a fish.

Same reason that Katarina lost her ward jump but not Jax or Lee: Because the changes going around the individual champions are meant to make up for it. Kat lost her ward jump because she gained tons of mobility with her daggers. I haven't given the Sylas changes much of a read yet, but he's losing them because they're trying to make his early less good right?

I remember at some point Animation canceling was considered to be removed, way back when, but they decided against it because it was considered and "Expression of skill". So hearing Sylas get his removed was a surprise.

Honestly, if they remove Riven's cancel animation, she wouldn't become a balancing nightmare of whether or not she is overwhelming to face against or not.

Yes, it will make her weaker but, because Riven will be slower in what she is doing, her opponents will have more proper time to react and counter (Especially in the early game).

For a compromise, we can disable a certain part of her kit to have no animation cancels (Like Ki Burst as an example) while having something like Valor still have animation cancel.

Riven needs to get either nerf or take big power from dmg and put it into CDs to spread her dmg into proper DPS, not a burst high enough that even in long time frame its still considered as high dmg which is correctly called Burst Per Second. In short she should be able to kill someone just on one rotation of spells right after she hits lvl 6 but should have better access to her spells as compensation to have as good dmg in given time frame as now. Who agrees?

Because Riven has had her animation cancels for several years at this point. Them being a "bug" is no longer a valid argument. They're VERY clearly a feature of her kit at this point, and it's way too ingrained in her kit to be removed without a total rework.

Sylas hasn't been out for even a fifth of the time that Riven's had her cancels. They're not ingrained into his kit or his balancing, they're nowhere near as complex, and his community hasn't had near the same level of investment into learning them that the Riven community has.

The sylas on PBE is more sluggish and more powerful. Cant wait for Sylas complaits for oneshotting, when nobody wanted these changes. The guy who did the changes should not do balance at all. riot could easily fix sylas by adjusting his numbers but no.

what do you mean riven cancels i thought they removed those already i mean her attacks arent cancels i tried Q aa Q try to aa but the (1st one is reloading) after my 2nd Q. isnt she still locked by attack speed? unless im supposed to use a attack speed shard.
