Tahm Kench not as bad as expected balance wise?

So, after the release it has been a few days and I dont see many threads crying about him. Im assuming the LoL community is okay with him? I bought him on release and the fact is that while he was fun to play, it was a bit challenging because of his low base move speed. Balance wise this is good. Because even though he is capable of making a lot of plays, his speed itself keeps it under check.

No one cries because no one plays him.

His devouring ability is utterly broken because of how powerful it is and with its low CD as well.

Most people just don't understand how important an ability like his eating one is so they won't complain for now until he's seen in the LCS.

Because ya know, sheep.

He is fine. All he needs is for his W to have a longer CD if used on allies or something like that, but even then, he isnt broken.

I think it's still to early to really say much about his balance, he's a champion with alot potential, especially in coordinated teams(so not soloQ) It will probably take some more weeks till people really figured out how to use all of his potential.

Kallista also was seen as anyoing for melees, but not overly strong after release...
