I recently got my account suspended so I have been playing on a smurf and jesus those games are unfun...its basically over at champ select every game, which side has more smurfS? And too boot if they are higher level they just get blatant passive advantages such as runes masteries...its so fkn cancer..i am astounded anybody can make it through that cesspit to get to level 30 and = the playing field.
Honestly, gameplay at lower levels doesn't matter that much, what matters is the fact that every fucking smurf I encounter is either 12 or just stupidly toxic. For real, there are 4 categorys of players down there.
First of, the genuinley new player. He will never get matched with any of the players im going to mention after that, because Riots algorithm is actually pretty good in seperating smurfs from newer players.
Secondly, the toxic af Draven, Yasuo insert champ with bad reputaion here player. Like really, when you get one of these, you KNOW why they are playing with you, talking non stop about your lv 4 ass not going jungle without smite stealing his solo exp and whatnot.
Third, theres the generic bronze smurf, who thinks it's funny to stomp new players, but after a while is frustrated because he cannot stomp actually better smurfs anymore, thus giving up after first blood, going afk, because after all this is just a throwaway account.
And fourth, there is the average, non talking player, saying nothing the whole time, muting everyone, just hoping to get through the levels as fast as possible. It's a shame that after 7 seasons you still have to level an alt account and be fed up with the stupid progress of unlocking everything step by step.
My 2 cents, am a little pissed off.
All pretty true except I can't agree with the algorithm thing, after 20 odd games on the new account there is still a smattering of smurfs/new players in every game :\
