Elo Hell and what Riot can do
Does anybody else feel like ranked is pretty awful in lower elo? Like It is so bad it came to a point where I was like okay, I'm just going to play blind pick/ team builder because the amount of trolls, afkers and even bad players in ranked is so bad its just not even worth it to play and try to climb out of bronze. I originally got placed in bronze 2, fell down to bronze 3 got back intro bronze 2 and then fell down to bronze 5. I have had way to many games where the player wont even leave spawn for the first 10-15 minutes, or if at all the whole game. Games where people literally just troll because they know you're in ranked / go afk because something you said or they're just trolls with nothing better to do... People say they will intentionally feed if they don't get this lane, etc etc. Like game where a player will be last pick and say mid was already picked hell pick a champ and just go mid with you, without even saying anything the whole time in picks. I've had a game where an Alistair literally just followed me around the whole game... on our team. I was support, and he was last pick or 2nd to last and just picked Alistair and followed me around the whole game.. immediately left after it was over, this was ranked btw. I think they should set up something in ranked where you have to meet a requirement to play in ranked, something harder than level 30. A lot of people in bronze don't seem to give a damn if they lose.. hence the afks and trolls.. they're already at the lowest of low in ranked.. its like a normal game to them where nothing is on the line. Or they dont consider some people are trying to get out of this elo where afkers is so common half the time it doesn't even get brought up by players on your team. They just continue to play without even mentioning it. I feel like they should come up with a system to prevent this besides riots shitty report system which is fucking awful because of how many afkers and trolls there actually is, including trolls who just report people for no damn reason. Or just because they're feeling like a baby or whatever the case may be. They could easily implement something where if you lose 5 games in a row while you have 0LP in bronze 5 you get banned from ranked or whatever.. Or you need at least 250 normal games to play ranked.. There are plenty of bronze 5 players with 250 normals. This would actually make ranked in lower elo such as bronze competitive, which is what its ment to be right? Think of it if youre bronze 4 or 5 you really have no reason to not play ranked instead of blind.. (except for less trolls ofc) I literally feel like I get less afkers in blind pick than ranked games. Seriously riot if that isn't a problem in your eyes but toxicity is well then theres a freaking problem. Some of us want to get better and want to play with other people who are just as serious as us. Being stuck in bronze 5 elo hell is awful and I am sick of this shit. Should I apologize for not having someone carry me to silver or something? I just want to enjoy this game as if I would CS:GO competitive/ranked or something. Like in that game if you headshot your teammates x amount of times you get kicked from the game and banned. If you leave the game you get banned.. Literally i'm pretty sure if you leave 1 competitive game it bans you for like 30 minutes to an hour and the ban goes up to 30 days just for leaving games if you continue.. Why do you need so many warnings in this game? If someone is ban them for 30 minutes, then if they leave or are afk again in the next ban them for a day from ranked, then if again without 30 days after that a week then a month.. So hard to consistently gain LP in this elo even if you play well in all of your games because obviously some games you can't carry.. But hopefully riot will see this any reconsider how their ranked mode is. Post your opinions or if you have had similiar problems in this elo or any elos at all.. Thanks.
