Doesn't the game need a rework, instead of champions?
So I have a lot to get off my chest. I haven't been playing LoL for the longest time, I started about mid August 2014, but I think I know enough about the game to comment. I am also almost certain that this post will get 0 attention from Riot, which is in my opinion the #1 problem with this game.
Just a little note to Riot (which won't be read by Riot): You have to listen to your players. People complain every single day, probably every 10 minutes, on boards about the game, and, Riot, no matter how dumb or stupid you think the idea is, you have to at least respond. You need to show your players that you care about improving the game, and Gameplay and Balance has never been angrier with you.
I can also say without a doubt in my mind that Riot cares more about the LCS than the game itself. The LCS makes money, and as we know, Riot loves money. Who doesn't? However, this game has turned into an internet contest/how fast can you click contest. While I do agree that the game still requires strategy, it is decreasing every time the LCS players make a big play, since it's all about the #LCSbigplays apparently. A champion gets 2 pentas in 1 game? It's good for the highlight reels, lets not nerf them.
We just need an overall rework to the game, so that there can be more community action, and more synergy between Riot and the community, and more fun instead of a clicking contest between the same 10 champions over and over again. Take your focus off of the LCS for a few seconds, and listen to your players instead of pro/challenger players who get 20 ping in every game.
