Question about the Mage rework!!??

I am just curious because I do play heimerdinger a lot for the past 2 years, do you guys plan to have any changes that may affect him other than the Items or will you let him sit? I am only asking cause in the last two years I have played I have seen little to do with this Champ. Ty for any info/feedbacks Rioters or Players!!
