So someone said I was inting and told the entire enemy team and my team ,so naturally I had to type in all chat saying my only adc was banned and I got the wrong champ and didn't know what runes to put. But he continued saying I was inting. I'm also fairly new so how do they differ from inning and a bad game.
Zéychin2 votesInting has become a pseudoterm applied to anything ranging from actually running it down mid to just plain being bad at the game.
If you are honestly actively trying to win the game and someone says you are inting, review what mistakes you are making to improve, but don't bother responding to them because they are frankly just being toxic.
Der Lindwurm1 votesInting in its purest form is running straight down lanes with the intent to get killed. Then it starts getting into some grey areas: players who ignore the map and just blunder into certain death over and over again as though they don't care, players who keep getting caught because they refuse to cooperate with the team, and players who are just too aggressive and go in a lot when they obviously don't have a chance. Sometimes it's just inexperience or genuine ineptitude, but it can seem like inting if it happens over and over again or if players at that MMR are expected to know better.
Weathered1 votesINTing, or intentionally feeding, is reportable. However this is only when a player intentionally dies to the other team, like running down mid lane into tower giving free kills.
Having a bad game is never reportable or punishable if you are honestly trying.
Jo0o1 votesBy definition, "inting" needs to be intentional. If you're unintentionally getting lit up, that's just a bad game. Riot errs on the side of caution when dealing with bad games vs. actual intentional feeding, so in terms of account standing, you have nothing to worry about.
Folks get salty and like to blame their teammates. It sucks. In the future, feel free to mute them, or everybody.
