So uh....How was Yasuo not deemed unhealthy by developers?

So I have a question how is a champ with double crit chance, A shield based on level, A dash with a .5 second cooldown, A wall that blocks every projectile and a knock up considered healthy or fair by the developers.

Because Riot doesn't like to admit they made mistakes.

Good job listing what all of his abilities do without explaining why they are unhealthy.

How is a champion with %max hp damage, damage scaling form health, a gap closer and knockup in one ability, persistent aoe damage, an 1000 range aoe slow, and ranged aoe stun not deemed unhealthy by developers? Sejuani

Say it what you will, Yasuo actually is unhealthy for this game.

as long as you don't provide an argumentation to support this claim, nobody gives a fuck to be honest. all OP did was to list some strengths and to attach a claim to them.

all this champ does most of the time is to farm up and still feed and contribute little damage or utility. he occasionally gets fed when played by mechanically good players who deserve to win if they can pull that off.

I personally think he is unhealthy because he has way too much safety during the laning phase for someone who scales so well into the late game. Also another minor reason is that he only needs one item to start snowballing because of his passive and all the free stats he gets.

Yasuo's laning phase is just far too safe. He's got his flow shield recharging every now and then to stop harass and a windwall to stop even more harass. To top it all off, when both of those are down, he just goes on rampage E mode to dodge the stuff you decide to throw at him when his shield and windwall are down. The window he is supposed to be vulnerable. Then later the cycle continues throughout the laning phase. Trying to get harass on Yasuo is a lost cause against a decent Yasuo player.

Then we can't forget tank Yasuo top, taking advantage of the boatload of free armor pen he gets from his ult. If you counterbuild him top lane he makes 1000+ gold worth of armor useless upon him pressing R. It's unhealthy all the unnecessary free stats that he gets, and all the safety that he gets as an already high mobility carry.

"he has way too much safety during the laning phase"

troll confirmed. in lane and in teamfights, all this champ does is dying. dying over and over and over.

(and doing little damage in comparison to other champions at the end of the day DESPITE collecting big amounts of gold)

farm, push, engage, die, repeat.

so...ban rate 99% and winrate 100%? no deaths? no bad matchups?

You sir, do not know the definition of unhealthy.

you were just describing a bunch of strengths and none of them add up with his actual performance in games. you don't have an argumentation.

Let me make this clear. I am not the OP. So stop saying I was describing that and stop saying I have no argumentation. When I said you did not know the definition of unhealthy I mean it because you seemed to think that the champ needs to have an 100% win rate and 99% ban rate to be unhealthy, which is not true at all. Even things with lower than 50% win rates can be extremely unhealthy.

See Kalista, for example. She doesn't need to have a 65%+ win rate to be unhealthy. She is sitting at a 41% win rate and I and many others still think she is unhealthy because of her passive. I bet Riot does too given that they left her in that state for a while.

On a side note, you also seem to confuse the word unhealthy with overpowered, which are not the same thing, with the example being the Kalista statements.

Yasuo, overpowered or not, is still unhealthy.

kalista is literally unhealthy for her team because she makes them lose most of the time, lol.

"I and many others still think she is unhealthy because of her passive" haven't seen anyone even talk about her since forever.

OP lists a bunch of features and makes it look like yasuo was a god, but it just doesn't add up with his performance and with how many times yasuo just gets dumpstered in lane. these features don't mean anything in practice. you can stay outside of his dash range and be safe 99% of the time (because he is predictable as fuck) while he dies in 99% of ganks.

They designed him to create #LC$BIGPLAY$

All about the $$$

its a CT champ. he probably thought of worse and Riot took the least disgusting of the bunch

Rustling Bush1 votes

the crit is based around his kit, it does reduced damage, but i wouldnt mind if they reduce the total time the wind wall was up to 3.75 at rank 5

Yasuo just needs an actual ult cooldown. Remember the Darius nerfs because it was too oppressive for him to ult you, then ult you again when you got back to lane?

Yeah....

I just which his skills had an energy or mana system. It is frustrating laning against a mid laner that can spam skills without much of a cost to staying in lane.

I don't know. He seems pretty fit to me. Any doctor would find him quite healthy.
