I have no idea how people who win 3/10 provisionals still get placed into silver, meanwhile I win 5 and am in the depths of hell aka BRONZE 5/WOOD LEAGUE/ S*TOWN. My match history speaks for itself. My provisionals did not warrant a bronze 5 placement, this is so discouraging and upsetting that I am not sure I can find the will to ever play this game again. If anyone has any idea why the hell this happened please comment, don't be rude.

Your placement depends on more than just winning X/10. Your position at the end of last season and your MMR play into it, too.
Everyone was expected to drop significantly at the start of the new season, and if you started out in low silver and went 5/10, you might end up in Bronze V. Likewise if someone who was in plat goes 3/10, they might end up in silver.
Also, Bronze V isn't some sort of death sentence. You'll be playing with the low end of the skill pool, true. That just means it should be easy to outplay them and carry your team to victory (it you're good enough to do so).
Keep playing. You don't climb the ladder in 3 games, you climb it in 100. If you really deserve a higher league, you'll make it, even if you have to play through some frustrating games to get there. For now, focus on yourself and improving your game.

Then you likely belong in the pit of bronze 5
