Karthus Not Noticed Enough

I recently decided to buy karthus since he looks like a pretty great mage. Turns out he was. I don' think karthus get noticed enough, i mean not many people play him. His ult is global and he is devastating in duels with the Q. He is great in team fights if he just walks in die Use defile spam Lay waste and finish off with a Requiem. That damage he can do is unbelievable.

The only hard part i fine about him is how to lane against a opponent. I poke and stuff with my Q but minions are in the way and they the enemy can easily out trade me. I might need some tips on that.

Yea karthus can be a monster, but your complaint about his laning phase, is his weak part and why he doesnt get played a whole lot. It's a fair trade off

Karthus actually sees LCS play from time to time.

Considering the double dmg it does on isolated target, the best way to beat an opponent with your Q is to use it for cs. The enemy champ will get in the way accidentally trying to snag their own cs. The trick is to always keep E your E a lvl above your Q in early game so that every kill with your Q regens mana. Plus, if an enemy engages you, your E does constant dmg that you don't have to perf-aim for the double dmg, of a Q. Stack up a few health pots and a mana pot just in case after first recall and simply out-sustain your opponent and use your ult to get assists and kills from other lanes as much as possible.
