Speeding up New Champion Select

Champion select currently feels like it takes a long time. Much more than before. I beleive one of the reasons is the new way bans are done. For example, previously if I were first pick and had all the bans to do, I would always have the champ I intended to ban searched up in the window, so it was a single click away when the ban swung back to me. Another part of this is the window where champions displayed is drastically smaller, so it takes longer to scroll to find the champ you want banned. This problem is only going to get worse as we continue to get new champs.

Proposed solution 1: Allow the 3/4/5'th picks, who each get to ban, to optionally select their ban intent, similar to how we declare our intended champion. When the ban phase comes around to us, that champ would automatically be selected, only needing to be locked in to finalize.

Proposed solution 2: Expand the window of displayed champs, or change how it scrolls from up/down, to left/right (perhaps using a turning cylinder effect) and display more champions. Now, this may create a small problem on it's own: if the window is wider and covers your team's intended champ picks, you may inadvertantly ban them. This is also an easy fix, as giving them a highlight of some sort will make them stand out. This could be improved further by showing the name of your teammate when you hover the champ, with a message "[summonername] intends to play [championname]."

Voting for option 1.

The amount of time waiting is horrible for people who get distracted easily as well. This could lower the rate of people accidentally dodging as well.
