What happens if dota 2's ban and hero select system was implemented in league?

Now first of all, let me make this clear. I am not saying league should be like dota 2, or asking for riot to implement dota2's hero selection and ban system. With that being said however, I want to know what league players think of dota 2's hero selection system and how that would impact league if it was implemented in league too.

So what is the difference between the two systems? In dota 2 only one copy of a hero can exist in a game. So that means if someone picked a particular hero first, no one else can on either team. For the ban system, when you ban a hero, neither side can pick that hero.

So basically using league champions to explain, you cannot have an ashe on either side or ban an ashe and then pick her for your own team.

So if such a system was implemented in league, what do you think?

Once again, I am just wondering you guys' opinion on this system. Not saying that it should be in league.

I believe u are comparing blind pick lol. Otherwise i cant see from where u vome from. Afaik, dota2 has captain mode, so one player pick and ban for entire team. Maybe they changed of maybe im miataking another gamemode.

If theres one thing that riot needs to copy from Dota 2 instead of overwatch, its the user-made content. Let riot SEE how much people would prefer other game modes, all on a platform that they can curate as much as they want.
