So I have been trying to learn Shyvana jung and my major issue is that every single other jung seems to be able to start ganking at like level 3 while Shy needs her ult to gank well at all, how do I counter this? Like I just played a game with Yi as the enemy jung and he was running around killing lane not even five minutes in, I try that with Shy and I get killed so why is she the only one that can't do much in lane until level six, is she that much better at clearing camps than others or something?

Yes, a lot of champions have been accelerated in their farming potential making hers less impressive, but the re-spawning times are what hurt Shyvana from truly power farming. Early dragons are nice but not nearly enough of the enemy gets 3+ kills. If she had some sort of late game scaling she'd be in a better spot but her power spike is mid game.

this game, I know its hard to perfectly balance a game with 140+ champs but still sometimes it feels like certain ones are left in the dust and ones that need nerfed stay on top forever

Shyvana has always been a stat stick. Riot has had to keep her power level significantly below average because whenever she is doing well it leads to her dominating most of her games. Her kit is just too simple. You run at the enemy and if they don't have more damage than you they die.

But at this point in League of Legends existence, she has been nerfed enough and fallen out of meta enough (with jungler farm nerfs being a large part of this) that she isn't a competent champion. Her success relied on skilled players invading and getting a level advantage over the opposing team. This isn't really possible anymore.

thats my point they nerf one so hard but what about Yi, everyone finds him to be a bitch to deal with, and by what I can tell it has been that way for a while why isn't he nerfed?

She can still gank a lane that's pushed up the only problem is every champion is most likely gonna have a dash or speed buff to get away in this crazy weird snowball meta that we have.

Also try soloing dragon at lvl or 4, if its ocean you basically done the work of ganking every lane provided that your teammates know how to abuse the buff..

You can get dragon solo at level 4? I usually wait until 6 for that too

It used to be lvl 3 at like 4 minutes in but idk since the scuttle changes...

it was basically Red buff blue buff gromp base dragon

or blue gromp red base dragon
