You should be able to honor someone on the enemy team

Often times I find myself going up against someone who is just a really skilled player and wanting to give them some credit for their hard earned abilities with the champ and good decisions, or if they just carry really hard. What I do now is just tell them after the game ends, but sometimes they leave the chat before I get to tell them.

I think it's cool we can honor our teammates, but good sportsmanship travels beyond your team only.

Could we implement some feature to honor someone on the other team as well?

on the other hand before this new honor system I had peopple on my team flamming us all but being very polite and funny in all chat, then the enemies would tell the flammer "honor x" in the lobby, happenned to me many times and it made me stop completly with the "giving the enemies honor" from way before this new honor system

I'd like this. A lot of people I've played against who tend to make me wish this was already implemented.

They intend to implement it in some way, but wanted to get the current honor system to us asap.

Yes and you should be able to honor multiple people not just one. This new honor i must say this but is worse than previous one. If Riot just added after game screen so people notice Honor exist but in form of how old honor system worked and added rewards like key drops and capsules (but increase drop rate ofc) it would be 10 times better than this shit they call honor.
