Allowing mirror matchups in soloq

I do not mind competitive staying the way it is, but I do not see too much reason to fret over securing picks etc in soloq, when you can just ban stuff you would rather not see, and the mode being rather disorganized what with you usually not knowing your allies or opponents prior to playing, so using past experience has a smaller effect. It would be nice if people were not locked out of playing a champion they like just because somebody else on the other team picked it, particularly for popular champions.

to me it feels like it would add more choice and freedom, and less (for the purposes of soloq) arbitrary constraints.

tbh it would be fun to see two pros play the same champion in say LCS too and see which one does the best (and just because mirrors are allowed, does not mean everybody will pick the same champions, so one team might have a teamcomp that better supports a pick than the other teams comp supporting that pick) [cass-cry]
