Ranked and Provisional

Ive been reading a lot on rank and provisional and how ppl are being placed. Most of the ppl that did their provisional as soon as season started got placed in bronze 3-4 if they were silver 2-3 last season by winning 6/4. Right now Im 3 game out of my provisional I have 7 wins. Last season I was B4 because I duoed season 4 with my friend who was b5 and at the time I was silver 3. that's besides the point. Does it make a difference when you do your provisional? Im playing against silvers4 - 5 in my provisional right now. What are my chances of hitting silver with 7 wins in a row right now and 3 games left? thanks

No. It is all based on your MMR.

it is all based on your ending mmr. at your 7 game win streak it is the highest it is going to be, unless of course you win the next 3. as a side note, i know some plat 3's that ended up mid gold winning 7 out of 10. riot even stated in their news article that because of what they did with the soft reset the most people would end up lower than they were last season. So if you do any less than win them all 10 i would expect to be at least 1 division lower than last season.

so ill still be in bronze since I was bronze 4 in promos at end of season 4? lolking had a lolking score of 918 at end of season. I did the 918 + 1200 / 2 = 1068 mmr roughly for soft reset?
