Just saying... As a player from 2010 im not feeling it. But im always here and still playing because this is one game i love. Gota ride it out.

I'm riding the bus to DotA2. Today was the day LoL catered to new players at the expense of its veterans.

They want to attract new players, but somehow no one at the conference table knows what the real issue thwarting new players is.

News flash Riot, its not the old runes/masteries leveling system scaring them away. Its the toxic experience of trying to learn the game while getting flamed by swarms of sub-gold quality smurfs who think they are Faker.

You must not have been paying attention for the past 2-4 years. They started making changes at the expense of veterans years ago! It's just that they'd do it slowly to small subsets of the players. So while it might not hurt many people to completely redefine poppy, sion, or taric (just to name a few). That shit adds up, and that's not including the more general sweeping changes that have been constant like damage and mobility creep.

Riot seems to think that they have some infinite pool of untapped players to attract to their game, but they're actually running really thin. If they've been experiencing net growth over the past few years, then they've really chewed through their untapped player pool, because there have been substantial rates of people quitting the game for a while. There's a reason that of the veterans that continue to play, they're friends list is a ghost town...

Might aswell quit these new rune pages aren't even worth, I got surprised on the update today was excited to play it, but I did I got one shotted.. One shotted... One shotted.. One shotted, I looked at my core It was 3/14, decided to not care anymore I'm just wait until they fix a whole bunch of stuff.

Im in the same boat,was pretty exited about the new runes. I main support and i feel like i am forced to play aggressive champion now,a style that i didnt really like.

Eh, it's not balanced yet, but it's so much better than the old one. Lots of fun new options. I think it's great and moves things in the right way.

Ya i agree, because everything is so unbalanced right now everyone is making a fuss about the new system sucking balls. i Think it could use a few improvements but i love the direction they are going in.
