Ranked duos only in the same Tier please

Picture this, a team with 4 plats and a gold 5, who just barely made it out of silver. The gold 5 is the duo of one of them who doesn't care about his account and spends the game following one teammate around, dancing, flashing on him, ulting him. Can you blame the guy for being upset? Not only does he lose Lp, he has to put up with this. Can you blame him for being toxic? He definitely shouldn't be toxic, but when games are this unbalanced, when he gets teammates like this over and over again... it really gets to a point where toxicity is just his natural state.

I admit it, its me. I'm ranting, but these games are getting ridiculous. We need a better way to determine player skill, a better way to set up matchmaking, and a better way to determine toxicity. You can read the chat logs, but what of the things that don't show on that chat log? Following a player around all game? Trolling? Ulting a teammate, spamming dance, spamming taunt? Duo's that breed toxicity then double report at the end of the game? I bet if everyone gave ranked games their all, I bet that if trolls were removed, if there were better ways to match players... I bet that League of Legends would no longer be renowned for its highly toxic community. End rant. You may downvote me to oblivion now.

90% of people don't usually troll ranked, and even less likely its a duo trolling cause then they probable wont duo since if they troll then they both lose LP and most duos r to gain LP

Your logic is sound, but can you apply logic to the troll army? The support followed me around the jungle for 15 minutes, spamming dance, and ulting my champ whenever it was up... he was a leona. I asked his duo to tell him to stop acting like such a child and play the game. I was told "I don't have any control over him". All i'm asking for is a level playing field where i can actually compete.

the "troll army" as you'd call it is the 10 percent or whatever. That is like saying the average person doesn't like to steal, yet you have kleptomaniacs who steal because they feel they have to. Not they don't troll because they feel the need to, i hope, but i'm sure the dude who trolled you you managed to piss him off one way or another. Literally it isn't common for one guy to just single another dude out at random. now if u picked say jungle and he was like jungle or feed. then he may do that to piss you off.

So does that justify it? Cause that's what it seems like you're saying. I may have done something to piss him off so its okay to troll? All I'm saying is that there needs to be a BETTER system to regulate players like that. As far as I know, champion select isn't policed and neither is the post-game chatroom. Sure you can just leave the post-game chatroom, but what of champion select. "ungle or feed?" " darius only" "10 minutes in, we're behind 3 kills, its over.. so i'm going to follow you for the rest of the game and spam dance". Whether or not its 10% of the population or not, its still far too many... enough to make the League of Legends community one of the most toxic communities in existence.

I didn't justify it, and when you say "most toxic league" everyone looks at the wfew toxic people and declares it bad. I'm sure you go to ANY call of duty game and it is hellamore toxic. Just because you are randdomly upset about this doesn't mean other have to be punished for those few. Report him then if it is "so bad" stop crying on the boards and take action. Video record it and send it directly to a rioter if that makes you feel better. Trolls will always exist they exist on every game that is a big multiplayer game. someone will always be toxic or have a bad day that wont be stopped anytime soon.

I didn't say "most toxic league", but the League of Legends community is notorious for being highly toxic. Its more than just my opinion. The fact that this is a highly competitive game mixed in with a matchmaking system that doesn't work very well.. makes for a toxic environment. I'm sure if you go to ANY Call of Duty game, you'll hear shit talking, bad mouthing, and the like... but its hardly as much of a team game as this one is. And if you think about the type of trolling that goes on it each game, you'll see that its not quite the same.

Either way, I'm done replying to this post. You have your opinion and I have mine. Regardless of who right and who is wrong, I believe there is value in my observations and suggestions. Whether Riot wants to take action and make it happen is up to them, but they probably won't even see the suggestions... courtesy of the sheep. Good luck to you.
