Various Champions Auto Attack Animations

This didn't used to disturb me, because it didn't happen as often. Now I've gotten really good at Riven specifically and when I auto I hear the audio and see blood splatter as my blade hits a minion and then see no damage applied itself, I'm really upset. I insert my movement command properly orb walking and there's no damage. Why is this auto attack so unresponsive? If the audio of my blade clashing with armor happens, and blood spews up out of my target, how could damage possibly not be dealt.

This also happens on many other melee champions and even ranged ones as well. I've had autos where the missle travels all the way to the target, usually hitting, and if you move it might not even deal damage. I feel that this is a major disturbance in consistency.

I may just be raging about something not many other people care about, but it sure as hell is annoying me.
