Akali - Nerfs and Buffs

Akali since around the beginning of season 5 has remained one of my staple top and mid champions. Her versatile nature of being able to both play tank and assassin made me fall in love with her.

I was immensely saddened when she received a major nerf towards her E sometime during season 5. While this wasn't the end of her story, she did see a small drop in her winrate. Her burst wasn't as attainable. She still remained a quite good assassin at least in my mind.

On the other hand, the new assassin rework has completely destroyed her as both an assassin and as a tank. She no longer has the lifesteal on her E which made her a viable tank in the early game. Her damage solely relies on her being able to land AA. No other AP assassin relies in their AA to deal the major part of their damage. Since her E can no longer proc her Q, it's an even heavier nerf.

I find myself no longer able to stay in lane against tanks and fighters. Previously her lifesteal from her E was a massive boon toward suitability. Her ult, a staple of her ability to dash around skillshots now has a massive 2 second delay between uses.

As a compensation she should receive her old passive back and her E should be reworked into being able to proc her Q again.
