So let me just start off with a simple possible scenario pertaining to my idea. Say you have a friend that mains Twisted Fate and has no skin for him. Then say you have someone like me who has 3 skins for him and doesn't really play him. I feel like it'd be pretty cool if you could gift skins that you own over to a friend's account or something of the sort.
I agree with the botting problem. However, it is really disappointing that we can't sell, or even trade skin shards from HT crafting. It would be really nice if they just made a level 20+ restriction or something which would prevent botting (mostly). It's far from perfect, but it's a lot closer to what we would want. For example, somebody I know has an epic shard for 
, but he never plays her. Somebody else I know, on the other hand, plays nearly all the time. They could just make a friend list & level 20-30+ restriction, and botting is mostly solved. I mean, if somebody goes through all the time to level up a bot to that level, it's kinda a lost cause in the terms of cheating the system. Also, you've got the professional designers, rito. PLEASE find a way to make this happen, your community would really appreciate it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Makes botting more lukrativ due to hextech crafting skins getting sold. Would create a blackmarket for skins.
These mystery skins are fantastic i gift my friend ravenborn lb i get snowbunny nidalee. I gift my friend another in hopes of me getting a good one but he gets guardian of the sands xerath and what do i get? i get resistance caitlyn..... ok third and a last time we try this i get black belt udyr and surprise he gets elementalist lux -.- last time investing money into this game.
