voting out trolls in ranked

ive read and posted something similar in another post but i noticed it hadnt been read in some time so i decided to make another in hopes to catch some eyes.

many people have requested a voting system in ranked Q that will help remove trolls by voting them out of the Q.

im all for this as long as its 4 votes to remove troll, or 3 if the troll is duo. reason being, its very common to get someone who wants to try a weird pick for a role, a pick that isnt viable, if thats what you wanna do go play norms.

ranked should be for those people who want to play their best champs and win, its not a place for testing out ideas.

plus it would solve the problem with people taking spots that already were picked.

it wouldnt get rid of interesting picks since you can talk with your team before you pick letting em know what you were planning, if they say no then dont do it, it is a team game so listen, if your pick is viable but not the norm people will most likely not kick you, remember they would need 4 votes to kick, and not everyone is "OMG NO DONT PLAY THAT PANTH SUPP" there are people that know weird picks work.

and if you did get kicked nothing bad should happen, just to prevent people abusing it, trolls get kicked, means they dont get to ruin that game till they pick properly/ dont steal a lane.

if a non troll gets kicked cuz he picked something the team didnt agree with and refused to change then he gets kicked and reconsiders why he was kicked, maybe his pick was truely bad.

dont add wait times, or if you do, then only if they get kicked 3 times in a row, say what you want, it would be very rare to get kicked 3 times in a row if you talked with your teammates and found something you all agreed on.

please post why you said yes or no, i want to hear your concerns if theres any, so we can figure out a solution.

First, your poll is heavily biased, with the yes option being shown as the only good one, and the no shown as only trolls.

Second, 4 man premades.

sorry i tried adding humor into the vote, its why i added yes and no at the end.

to my knowledge you cant do 4 man premades in ranked, i just looked it up to see if i was mistakin but i see nothing saying its a thing, correct me if im wrong.

i believe it is just solo/duo, 3's and 5's

so in solo/duo youd need 4 votes to kick, or 3 if they are in a duo

3's the team would be 1 vote, so unanimous on their side youd still need the other vote

5's well its 5's...

Sorry, had been thinking about normals.

I guess this could work, but it'd also mean any off meta pick could be kicked by people just because they think it doesn't work.

i see your concern, but there is a difference in off meta, and non viable.

like i mentioned above, going supp panth isnt the norm, but it is very effective with certain comps.

going zilean jung however is just a troll pick.

remember youll be able to talk with your teammates, and will need 4 votes to be kicked.

so if you go in and say" hey guys i was planning on going xin mid is that alright?"

your team mates can either go "yeah sure" or "please no"

if they say no then choose something that keeps your team happy, you do have to work with em for the next 30-40ish minutes so you might as well get along.

if you still wanted to go mid xin, they would need 4 votes to kick, if even 1 person thinks "nah xin mid is fine, it works" then nothing happens you get to play xin mid.

now if you choose xin mid after everyone said no then expect to be kicked, WORK with your team, team work is OP didnt ya know :P

this wont solve every troll problem, but it will help A LOT! imo

better then having no say, getting stuck with a troll pick, or getting in trouble cuz you were forced to dodge.

I'd have to agree. Anything that's even slightly unconventional (even if you may do very well with that champion in that roll) will get you kicked out and time banned as being a troll. Will cause a lot more stagnation. Especially when you get banned because you played lets say Talon instead of Zed because Zed is considered teh stronger pick.

thats why i suggested not giving a punishment for getting kicked, unless it happens like 3 times in a row, or possibly more.

it will save people from getting abused, and will stop trolls from constantly picking like that.

again ill say there is a difference with non meta and non viable.

The thing is, what if the people consider, say, Olaf completely unviable? It doesn't matter what IS viable, just what the other players consider viable.

you'd still need 4 votes to be kicked remember, if someone is fine with it or doesnt vote, you dont get kicked.

the system would be a solution to be aggressive vs trolls.

im astonished that there hasnt been much feed back so far, ive seen tons of old forums on this topic with a great number of people for both sides, i dont understand why people arent looking for a way to help ranked Q to be a little better then it is right now.

please people post idea, concerns, yes's, no's anything to help make it better for everyone.
