Jg nerf

Why are you guys(Riot) focusing so much on jg? Bot lane determines the game and jg is getting nerfed? I don't understand the logic. Does Riot play the game or are they just listening to low elo players dying to standard 2:40 ganks with/without vision? Challenger players aren't saying jg is op/busted and they know the game best. Conqueror and Resolve could have been nerfed instead, if not bot lane.
