If they ramped up static gold gain, it would make games faster, in HotS endgame starts around 20-25 min (level wise) pending on how evenly matched the teams are, and if games were faster i agree people would be a little less tilted because they know the game will at least be over in a short time, so they can move to the next one. But, the big issue would be snowballing, say
gets a couple early kills with this new ramped up gold gain, Suddenly graves is fully built at 15-20 min, while the losing team may have half a build done. The biggest issue with league, aside from the super toxic community, is that the game has 2 balance points, Items and Champions. Like how everybody is good with
atm, if you nerf it, some champions that are finally viable because of it, would lose viability, if you give them compensation buffs because you nerfed a core item on them, they may become too strong, and then can build other items that are better than rageblade, and become super dominant. Or like when Atma's Impaler was an item, it received quite a few nerfs because (like titanic now) was abused by hyper carries because it was good. When it got nerfed, hyper carries stopped building it, and the people who needed it, didnt really get the stats they needed off of it, but didnt receive much (if any) compensation, so they became weaker.
