AP Ezreal Now

Lichbane replaces runeglaive pretty much, but theres no aoe waveclear except ult of course. AP Ezreal will always be AP Ezreal until riot changes/nerfs

Runeglaive only gave him wave clear, other than taht ap ez has always hit like a bitch.

He's back to being what he was at the time before Runeglaive. AP Ez's "Niche" Imo, is AOE burst, to chunk teams as hard as possible before, during, or after the initiation. Since he can hit entire teams with his W and his ultimate. also, the AP itemization changes worked wonders on AP Ezreal.

Runeglaive is gone so he's weaker, but people now remember he actually fucking exists so he's going to still get played, just with ignite and a Lich Bane or Ludens rush.

He like he was before runeglaive, a suboptimal pick. But some players that mained him knew how to use him properly, and they'll still perform good with him. If you just jumped on the AP EZ hype train, you'll either have a tough time learning how to play him properly (you must get everything out of him now to make it work) or switch to something else.
