For people saying "carry your way out of bronze"...

This is what happens in 90% of my bronze games.** I AM DARIUS. NOT EKKO! ** Nidalee was last pick, didn't talk until they were locking in (this happens regardless of the new champ pick, or the old) & proceeded to say "I don't like Darius as top, so I'm going to feed guys, sorry".

He went into the game, bought only the items you can see, fed 2 lanes silently, said "lol", quit. So it was 4v5 with a Quinn & Zed given first/second/third/fourth blood's which is all that's needed to A: tilt the lanes in their favour due to people feeling negative and B: allow the other team the confidence to know there's infighting and trolling on our team.

Game over.

You can say "OMG YOU CAN TOTALLY TURN IT AROUND, I KNOW I WOULD!!" or "not all of your games can be like this, this is a bad example, I have xxx in my games!" etc. I don't care. This is ALL I see. It's either an afk, feeding, toxicity, etc etc.

I can deal with bad players, I can deal with people that get countered due to bad picks, whatever. I can't deal with these scenarios. It's pathetic, and it's so common it pains me to even bother playing any more.

I couldn't care less what my rank is, I just like playing the game & actually earning/losing something at the end based upon my skill level. Normals don't offer that because people generally take it even less seriously than bronze level ranked, & I don't gain or lose anything based upon playing so I'm just kind of like "meh, who cares?".

Obviously the care factor in rank also becomes meaningless over time due to the fact that I have zero influence on what happens in the game. I can't alter the outcome of a game where someone decides they're going to deliberately lose it from the start.

I've played multiple MMO/team games that require people to work together, & I've never in my life seen a game so FILLED with people that just want to destroy the fun that others have so that they can laugh, or whatever.

There should be a WoW-esque scenario where you have to do proving grounds (google it if you've no idea what I'm talking about) to prove you have a basic understanding of game mechanics, and have to do a certain amount of cs/damage/healing whatever before you're capable of entering the ranked scene.

If it isn't taken seriously, then what's the point? Where's the learning?

I literally can't remember the last game I've played where someone doesn't go 0/20/0 or never connect, or connect & flame the team, or multiple other scenarios.

I know I'm terrible, I don't need people going through my game history pointing out that I'm terrible. All I want is for people to know that it's impossible to improve at this level of the game when you're instantly behind before the match even starts because one team is guaranteed a feeder/toxic/afk/man-child whatever to sway it in one direction.

So any win you have is meaningless, because it's one of the above, and any loss you have is out of your control due to the fact that you've generally got one of the above.

It makes me blind. I hate this game.

Honestly man if you don't care about your rank, then don't play ranked. I just play normals and have a fine time.

The game you cited is literally the ONLY game in your match history where someone intentionally fed. The rest of the games were lost because YOU didn't play well (like you said.) I don't really know what sympathy you are looking for here. One out of 20 games you got an intentionally feeder. Poor you. What about all the other games you lost? Who's fault was it then?

You have a 15% win ratio in the past 20 games and the only consistent factor in all of those 20 games is you.

You're lying to yourself if you say its impossible to improve. I looked at your match history and there were plenty of games where there where 10 people all working hard for the win. The fact of the matter is that rather than actually working on your mechanics you would rather blame factors that are outside your control.

"Hey its not my fault I can't get more than a couple CS per minute or average a KDA over 2, its that one game out of 20 where someone feeds! That's why I can't get better at the game!"

Honestly, how many times have you gone into a custom game and practiced last hitting? How many times have you reviewed your games using replay software or used a FREE recording program to watch yourself play? How many times have you watched a high level streamer or pros and compared how you played to how they played? How many times have you asked someone who is a higher rank than you for help?

My guess is that the answer for all those questions is NEVER.

Your logic is as bad as those 600 pound people who say its impossible to lose weight because there is a fast food restaurant on every corner. ** If you're willing to stop making excuses and actually start improving your play I'd happily help you in any way I can. Until you are ready to be honest with yourself I can't help you though.**

"Alt+Print Screen" will screen shot your currently active window. It puts it on your clip board so you can paste or "ctrl+V" it to imgur or just save it through paint.

That'll keep the secret of what your doors look like to you and the few who get to see that magical gateway.

There are 5 BRONZE players on the other team doing the same shit that your team is doing..... What's the problem?

Maximum Morde1/22/2016, 2:20:08 PM5 votes

There are 4 chances for that on your team. There are 5 chances on the enemy team. Trolls are not the reason you cannot climb. Statistics makes it impossible for that to be the reason since they should actually favor you on average.

Honestly, as a person who has had many friends in Elo Hell/Elo hell veterans I have to give you this advice.

  1. Before playing ranked, pick 2 lanes you are good (better at then the rest)

  2. Then pick 2/3 champions for those two lanes that are easy for you or are notorious low Elo solo stompers (Riven, Malphite, etc.) I personally wouldn't recommend Darius because you can't carry as him and if you are behind, you become as useful as a Caster minion.

  3. After you pick those champs play those champs in normals/drafts ALL THE TIME, getting them to mastery lv 4/5 might be a nice goal. Also go on lol wiki and know everything about that champ.

  4. Try to get a duo parter and make a Skype/curse/etc. call. 1 person you can trust and that you are in verbal contact with is worth it's weight in gold (no pun intended :))

  5. Watch pro/challenger players and see how they play your champs and what they do in certain situations.

I know it's a bit long, but that's how I did it and I'm pretty well off (I got to silver 1 after promos)

Edit: also try to have fun with it, you will get games with trolls, feeders, regardless what Elo you are in. Also having a good mouse/track pad also will give you an edge.

That screenshot isn't even that bad besides the Nida with the daggers?? You are 4/8 with Ekko??

Bruh, that happens in ALL elos. Yesterday my bot lane literally went 1/20 and I'm in lower diamond elo. There will always be matches that you can't carry. But remember literally everyone has experienced this frustration.

Carry your way out of bronze. Focus on why you had one third of your entire team's deaths??

Idk but Ive played 12 ranked games this season and I got kinda unlucky. 3 or 4 afkers and alot of trolls. Ironically, today I had to play support, and my favorite support picks were chosen so I said "Ill go poppy support" Our caitlyn and her premade friend start to flame me relentlessy because according to them Poppy cant be a support pick, I should uninstall, and whatnot. Ingame caitlyn decides not to farm and instead feed, Anyway I somehow got a kill on their support and after awhile caitlyn as if a miracle happened changed her/his attitude and started to farm, and play decently and we ended up winning the game.

OP, nice doors you have. Always wanted to have this style in my room.

As for carrying Bronze. Well... I'd say it's extremely easy, at least it was for me being high Gold to mid Platinum (Don't remember now which one I was at the time).

I mean, I did have 90% winrate after 20 games, although by then it was already Silver.

FooDang1/22/2016, 12:31:09 AM3 votes

Did jungle Ekko almost catch up in cs to your Darius top lane?

weeaboomer1/22/2016, 7:13:49 AM3 votes

And yet the point still stands. Carry yourself out of bronze. Or do you believe anyone who's ever climbed out of there just got "lucky".

was this the darius or the nidalee? seeing the 8 deaths on you is a mutiple of both of them i dont think having you on the team is any better than having ethier of them in bronze it doesnt really matter i get placed in it every season and get to silver elo hell is just a myth that people in our ranks make up to feel better about themselves the same thing happens on the enemy team you just dont see it because your focused on whats wrong with your team not whats wrong with me. hrrmmmm random video link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ4vPCY11eM

Here:

If you play at silver level, you have to play a lot of games to climb. At this level, you are winning about 55-67% of your games. This takes into account your trolls and feeders (remember that both teams have it, but the chances of one being your team, 4/10 is less than the enemy's chances, 5/10).

If you play at a gold+ level, bronze games should be way too easy for you. You should be getting fed and one-man carrying most of your games regardless if there is a feeder/troll on your team (with the exception for cases where the enemy is constantly running into the enemy team no purpose, but these scenarios are uncommon and should not deter you from climbing). I am plat this in season 5 and gold in seasons before it. From my perspective (when I was gold), bronze players were painfully bad. Like - it's not even... oh they're a little bit worse than me. It was more like... holy crap these people either have $100 computers or they're just downright mentally challenged. Bronze players are bad beyond imagination; and therefore if truly deserve to be gold+, you should be able to carry with blindfolds on (exaggeration).

If you are winning ~50% or less of your games, you are bronze - PERIOD.

How to determine your level: Play AI games at the hardest difficulty

Required: Pick a champion you have never played or is not very proficient with - do not pick your "main". If you're losing your lane, you are bronze. In a situation where your teammates are losing lane, if you cannot carry them against AI - you are bronze. If your games against AI's are closely contested, you are bronze. If your farm at 20 minutes is below 100, you are bronze. If your farm at 20 minutes is below 130, you are low to mid silver - basically bronze. If you are clearly winning, but require to put in effort, you are low to mid silver - which is basically bronze. If you are clearly winning, but only because you need to cheese to get ahead, you are low to mid silver - which is basically bronze. If you are clearly winning with little effort, you are silver. If you are getting fed like crazy (consistently), you MIGHT be high silver/low gold.

In insure getting out of bronze, your score in an AI game should consistently, with your worse champion, be something like... 15+/0-2/5+ with 150+ farm @ 20 minutes. The farm number is considered low, but I'm taking into account you running around and KSing your teammates.

Most people are easy to tilt

You went down 0/2 in lane so people who are on edge are likely to flip in your games.

I've played with Diamond smurfs (in normals) and those guys literally get 5 kills in 5 mins, stealing enemy buffs and absolutely smacking the shit out of the enemy. Those guys are less likely to have kids going AFK in their games because they are so good it creates this sense of positivity

You're simply not good enough, accept it.

disregardable1/21/2016, 10:48:29 PM2 votes

"not all of your games can be like this, this is a bad example, I have xxx in my games!" I don't care. This is ALL I see.

This isn't 100% wrong. When you do poorly in your games, it's going to infringe on your teammates doing well too. Your bot may be winning 2/0 while you fed 0/2, and when your laner teleports bot, now it's "Bot lane fed my laner!" instead of "Sorry I screwed up guys." Do better and your teams will do better too. Not 100% of the time, obviously, but in the end, all you need is to win a few more games than 50% to climb.

Learn to CS better, stop dying as much, always try to get your turrets as soon as possible. You win this game by compounding an advantage over the enemy team: if you can get a significant gold advantage for yourself and your team in over half your games, then you'll climb.

WarlockLaw1/22/2016, 2:40:40 PM2 votes

If you are in fact getting afk/feeders every game and you are never one of them then statistically they should be on the enemy team more frequently than yours eventually allowing you to won more and climb out of that shitty elo.

Despite that if you want to avoid those kind of games I'd suggest experimenting with the time of the day you play ranked. I've noticed that when you play ranked changes the experience to a large degree. Night seemed general bad, middle of day seems highly competitive and afternoon seems to be less competitive but not rage filled, at least in my experience

I know it sucks man, it really does. I was like you at one point where I thought I was never going to get past Silver. But last season, after 5 years of this game I finally got to gold (Almost plat, highest I got was G2)

And all I did was be positive, mute people who refused to be, and focused on my game play and I finally hit gold. I also did this playing mainly support Leona.
