Guaranteed Role, Longer Wait Times (As An Option)

Have you ever been autofilled or forced in to your secondary role that you aren't comfortable with? Yup, it sucks, I've always wondered why people are so upset about queue times especially in lower elo where it isn't that bad, personally i just watch vods, videos, read the boards, or whatever i feel like doing until my queue is ready. So if i had the option for 3x the queue time, i would gladly take it to be placed in a role I'm comfortable with 100% of the time. If people don't want longer queue times and would rather get in the game as fast as possible then they can possibly be autofilled, however if you only feel like playing one role or champion than you should be allowed the option for your role guaranteed at the cost of your queue time being longer. I'd like to know other peoples opinions on this, feel free to share. :)

This doesn't work because everyone would just disable autofill and queue times would double.

if they're willing to wait the doubled time, then that was their choice and if they complain about queue times and choose the guaranteed role then that isn't anybodys fault but their own. its all about what you value more, your role or your queue times.

I don't think you understand. If autofill was able to be disabled, It would be the equivalent of fill today. Basically turning it on guarantees support. Half the people would disable auto-fill, and those with auto-fill are more than likely just going to get support. Then more people leave auto-fill and more people get support in auto-fill. It will snowball until 95% of the community plays without auto-fill, and then we are back to square one.
