Yasuo's Rework. Why?

What i really think about Yasuo upcoming Rework, He doesn't need one, really I think people should just get to know how he is countered. The reason everyone wants him to be reworked is because he is so annoying to face but in reality he isn't, think about it for a second here. Yasuo is a high mobility champion if you take that away he is screwed and will lose, people don't get it because they are either tilted or just salty that he keeps outplaying them (bronze elo) because they make careless mistakes by letting him get his ultimate off or making it so that you fight by minions if you can learn to counter he won't be so annoying and will make a yasuo more annoyed with you by not playing into his BS. I hope riot makes a good decision and stop trying to rework people but try to encourage people to outplay the players to make outplays and build items to stop them. Riot spoon feeds so many champs and it makes people not wanna play the game if anyone should be reworked it should be FIZZ. who should be reworked fizz or yasuo your vote matters

Yasuo is aggravating to play against and he's simply too strong in lane

It's not just bronze players complaining, Apdo, the #1 player in Korea agrees that he's overpowered. The trick to the champion is not throwing and making mistakes with such an overpowered champion.

You can push a fizz underturret. You can freeze against him. He has mana He has vulnerable points in his laning phase

"All you have to do is CC and kill him" Idk man that kinda goes for every champion that doesn't make health. Most of them don't have a windwall or a large shield.

I was on a team with yas, we did a poorly called baron, yas tanked it, he windwalled the baron. and we took it down with him lifestealing off of it and shredding it. The enemy team came in, our top tp'd in, the enemy sejani flash engaged on us.

The sejuai's ult was in yasuo's ass and about to hit 4 players on our team, then within pixels, yas windwalled and it was gone. He hit a tornado on the enemy midlane, 2 shot him, and we won the game.

This was a silver yas in my ranked flex game against a bunch of diamonds last season. All the yas did was hit baron, panic windwall, and hit a tornado because the enemy midlaner was out of position, because we should have been CC'd.

I legit gagged. I was tilted for the enemy team that we won that. We shouldn't have. This champion is disgusting.

Anyone with half a brain not choosing a champ outright countered by Fizz can push him under turret, it's not hard. Hell, most ranged champs can easily poke his health away in laning phase, and a good deal of melee champs can just draw out his E and give him easy harass. Yasuo is unique in that he has his Windwall, but that seems like the only excuse you're using as to why he's "OP". Windwall is on a high cooldown for good reason, and the only reason Sejuani would get WIndwalled is if they arrived late enough and he managed to throw it out in time. Not rocket science. And if Yasuo's overall damage output is high enough that he can have Lifesteal and sustain-tank Baron while being able to 2-shot someone, then it was likely late enough in the match that any teamfight would be enough to win either side the game. You also didn't mention any variables like how well Yasuo did against the enemy team in that Baron fight, how long exactly Yasuo was tanking damage from Baron himself, the positioning of the enemy that was at mid that got 2-shot'd, what the item builds of the enemy were like, hell you didn't say anything about Sejuani except "she threw her ult and it got Windwall'd". Last Season doesn't have much to do with Yasuo this season, since that was before his Armor Pen bonus was moved to his ult from his Passive. You also didn't mention variables in that match as to which champ cast the CC that got Windwall'd, how many people got hit by the tornado, etc. It's not the champion that's OP, it's how you use the Champ and what you do with its potential. Any Silver player worth anything would have been playing Yasuo for long enough that they would know how to use his Windwall effectively, and would know that using Windwall removes him using it again for a good deal of time...cooldowns, anyone?

You don't play against him much. Silver is full of Yasuo one tricks that no ranged can do anything against. If you build damage you just get windwalled and then dove into when a minion line comes in. You don't get to "poke his health away" because he's always dangerous to you if there is any amount of minions between you two. Secondly the melee champ harass is crap because he does so much damage and you can't disengage you don't get "easy harass" you win and scare him off by almost killing him or he just waits for you to finish whatever menial crap you're doing to him then he murders you for thinking you had a chance and you can't disengage from him because he just runs you down.

Let me see why : 1. He is annoying and can ruin the game singlehandedly for 5 other players. 2 he is overloaded as hell. 3 once that prick gets a few items conterplay goes out of the window. he just murders everything in sight.

The reason they reworked him is because he had the same thing going as Ekko did: Tank Yasuo had far too much offensive power. The rework made it so Yasuo had to choose between damage and defense. That's all they changed about him...I don't know what you mean when you say "outplay" because that hasn't changed. He's still able to outplay his opponents just like normal; he just can't do as much damage against them as Tank, or take as much damage as offense, any longer. I for one am happy with his rework.

technically speaking Silver and Gold are average-slightly above average elo, Bronze is low, Plat is above average elo, and Diamond+ is high elo.

Yasuo doesn't need a rework! He is already hard to play for noobs. And if they should do anything at all, it's to make his ult-range larger again

He reminds me alot of old katarina. Dash in, Spin, ult, kill, get out using minions..... I have tried yas and as someone who plays almost every role (outside of ranked of course), He has a low skill floor but a very high skill ceiling. A good yas is terrifying but a bad yas is still about as strong as an average player of any other champ. This is kinda like the old ryze and alot of the other rework champs. Look at the past reworks. Almost all of them were reworked because they were overpowered in the right hands (ryze perma snare etc) or they were just way too simple yet effective (yorick, taric, warwick, etc). Yas fits both catagories.... Tell me where I'm wrong but I can see why (I don't care if they do or not cause I can counter him with any burst or this crazy thing called teamwork) why riot would look at yas for a rework. He isn't really "broken" if you know what to do but his gameplay isn't as "healthy" as it could be. The only example of champs similar to yas are kalista and maybe zed, Highly mobile champs that could outplay for days and had kits that were cool concepts but they were op as hell on the pro scene. We all know riot makes nerfs and buffs based on the pros first, normal players second. We saw this when Kalista was nerfed into the ground and is only now returning after a whole season of low playrates. She still is broken, If and only if, you are a kalista main. When you face a kalista main and she makes you look like an idiot because you tried to catch her as she kites you to eternity...

I mean yasuo isn't op in pro play because he gets shut down by a coordinated team pretty easily. He can't be compared to Kalista because he is actually balanceable (and balanced rn imo)

Again yasuo can be countered by anything, build items don't be a pussy and just blame it on the champ. For example randuins and frozen heart FUCK HIM OVER. Thats what I've learned i tell my sup to build it everytime and i flat out carry game.

So what you're telling me is to build randuins and frozen heart on a mid lane mage (like ahri or karthus) because that seems counterproductive... Plus, this is lower elo so most likely my support won't listen to me if I recommend something...

I definitely agree; Yasuo does not require any rework or nerf.

I can easily beat Yasuo with many of my champions, such as Illaoi (if Yas is top), Lissandra (her ult comes in handy, both defensive and offensive), Diana (moonlight is incredibly important), and Ivern (Daisy).

Fizz, on the other hand, does need another rework.

The sad thing is Poppy was actually capable of dealing with him kinda and then they nerfed her damage and her lane sustain so she just gets rolled by him now to.

Fizz doesn't need another rework. He needs a bugfix to his ultimate - because for some reason it became point and click abillity instead of skillshot. And u can enjoy multiple clips on yt, where people flashed to the side and fish just decided to turn and follow them.

That and because you can immediately pick up the fish if he whiffs it the hitbox of his shark is the size of the Empire State building. Honestly the change that Riot should have given to Fizz is instead of putting all his damage into his ult, keep the damage amplification on his ult, but limit it to while you have the fish (the amp goes away after the shark pops) and have it scale up from 0% to its pre-rework value depending on how far the fish is thrown.

Yasuo hasn't been confirmed for a rework? Ghostcrawler's post simply suggested some small changes MAY be needed. It's not even official.

Ok smart guy lets do this. Yasuo has everything he needs to counter snowball and destroy entire enemy team. No counters. Are you seriousa good yasuo player is unbeatble. If yasuo dies is because you are bad not that enemy is good ;)

If you have a nuke and complain that people need to learn to fight against it you my friend are a yasuo main. A bad player at yasuo and use 0 strategy.

Okay! so i totally forgot i posted this and I'm going to address this again. I FUCKING HATE YASUO AND FIZZ. They are both champs i wish would fucking die in hell, but i don't like how riot changes the feel of the champion. Really it annoys me, I'm a adc main now and despise both of em because they are just one shooting fuckboys. But lets talk abut how riot can Improve on how to make a champion "balanced". For starters, changing one ability in his kit or making the cool down of some abilities less spammable would make his kit so much more better. Or as riot says "Balanced" but i don't give a fuck anymore if yasuo and fizz were perm deleted from the game it would make this game so much better heheh have fun guys.
