@Riot Plans for Adressing DCs & AFKs

I think this issue and topic has been danced around and has gone unresolved long enough for me & the community to ask you directly. What plans/ or what is in the works to deal with the issue of People Dc'ing/ Afking in games

Preventing it: (Server fix, game bans for people who consistently afk preventing future issues?)

Real-time: (What happens when someone DCs or Afks in a live game. Is their a time frame before an auto loss forgiven will be given. Will a loss forgiven be rewarded to the affected team at all?

After Effects: (recognizing consistent Afk/ Dc behavior and it's effect on the community) I strongly believe one of the greatest frustrations in this game that leads to a toxic environment is the general feeling that regardless of your game play/ how well you play your team will lose and you cannot win based off your own merits.

AFKs & DCs are a perfect example of this. You are forced into a 4v5 game (not "un winnable" but realistically not going to turn out favorably for you. When dealing with an AFK/ DC on my team i am incredibly frustrated especially in ranked because not only are you virutally guaranteed a loss, your loss is based off nothing you have done, and you will be penalized for this sometimes heavily so (promotion rounds, demotions etc..).

Before someone says or Riot says "Afks/ DCs aren't common enough for us to devote a large number of our resources to address" I will say this. 4 out of my last 4 games in ranked... And I mean every single on of the 4 games back to back I have has at least 1 DC or AFK on my team. And only one on the opponents side. Again I will repeat this 4 games, back to back there was a DC/ AFK in game. This is unnaceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.

There may be a limited amount you can do Riot its fair to say some peoples connections are poor on their end, however I would have significantly more faith and piece of mind to at least see this issue being addressed. Because after what I experienced in game tanking my rating and making my climb to plat much more unrealistic I am disappointing to say the least at what I view as little no no effort to fix this obvious issue. I say little to no effort, because at the very start of this season (Season IV) I had 6 Dcs in my promotion... believe it or not 6 our of 10 games, had a DC/ AFK my side. I started at 0 lp in Silver 5, now i just got demoted from Gold 2 for having 4 back to back Dcs on my team. I think its fair to say, it was an issue then and continues to be an issue today.

I enjoy this game, and I do think you are more than a capable company. I would like to know what is in the works/ some ideas on how to adress this or/ what is being done or could be done to finally move forward in fixing this issue to overall better not only game-play but the community itself to relieve us of this aggravating issue.
