Is my champ holding me back?

Hello, i'm in plat4 and i'm a masyer yi main and I was wondering if my champ is holding me back. I hear that master yi sucks, especially at higher elos, should i be quitting master yi? Or am I just a bad player who wont climb even with other champs.

Reckon you could get to diamond with yi(/basically any champ) before champ choice becomes more limiting than overall game skill.

yi is definitely not holding you back from reaching dia. only after hitting dia it gets really hard to climb further with him.
