Have I missed something with Fiora?

I absolutely love the champion. She's capable of being the DEFINITION of "The Grand Duelist:" just screaming "1v1 me... I don't back down."

Everything about her is badass.

However, every other post I see on champion feedback is associated with her potential and how it's overturned, going as far as asking her to be nerfed. Every logical argument I come up with is thrown over the heads of readers. I've asked my friends in Gold and Plat if she's seen extensively in pro play, and the answer I'm always given is "no."

My question is, why is she in the position of criticism all of a sudden?

Because people love to complain, and fiora is strong at the moment.

Fiora always has some presence in pro play, since she is usually able to 1v1 anyone late game which makes her an incredibly powerful split pusher.

When people are beaten by something that seems unfair, rather than learn to play around it, the more vocal people would rather just demand her be removed.

I mean, they would never lose a 1v1, they are too good for that, something must be wrong with the game right?

Because people on the boards shit themselves over the idea of true damage. Also almost every single one of them misunderstands her W. They don't play the champion so they are angry and want it banned because they can't grasp how to exploit her weaknesses.

The boards is a wasteland of rant post. What else do you even expect to find here? Everyone always hates on champions that are strong for soloqueue at the given point in time.
