Panth Ap support?

So, went from bronze 1 to bronze 5 because of autofill. I messed around a lot and tried all lanes ( i main top) But about 10 games ago i tried ap support panth discovered it can be op/fun. My latest builds always have eye of watchers/rod of ages/protobelt as core items. Any hardcore panth players try this? Gotta ban brand/twitch though or you may have a shitty time bot lane. If you get stuck against 2 long ranged champs it can be a problem.

How does it work ? Well his w and ult scale pretty well off ap, and the reason why i like it for support is because his stun can give panth plenty of assits if timed right, not to mention how devastating his ult can be if it hits anyone. The protobelt + W combo is great for closing gaps and taking out the fed carry on other team. I know this is bronze, thats why i thought id make a post to see if anyone uses this for real. I have seen a diamond ap panth jungler, but not support. Comments or help on build would be appreciated! thanks

Probably work in just Bronze, but above Bronze, you're best off playing proper support champions.

Panth has cc, poke. And execute dmg. Going some ap does give fun burst. But you will get less gold overall with the support item choice because melee without a good ranged ability. Even the spear means you need to get fairly close.

I've done this before in several normals, gamemodes, and a single ranked game. Running AP Pantheon is complex to say the least, especially as support. Of my experiences, full AP Pantheon with 45% CD is like a field day of stuns (5 second Ws if I recall correctly) and hard hitting ults due to the 1.0 AP Ratio on both skills. The drawback I found to running it however is that once you blow everything (W>Sheen Auto if one>Q), you have a lollygagging moment where you can't do much until your stun is back up. Attempting to run a caster like Pantheon can work in the right execution.

I've actually never run Protobelt as of yet. I'll consider that whenever I go back to playing him.
