Tahm feels really weak outside of support

Beyond his Q, and the really long CD and risky devour, he doesn't really do much damage in lane. Anyone with a slight lick of sustain will trounce all over him. He needs some serious buffs if that's his intended lane, otherwise, he's just support fodder that will never get picked over thresh and blitz.

With that ult there will always be a reason to pick him over Blitz or Thresh.

have you tried him top lane? he just stacks health and practically skarner ults you back to his turret. while doing tons of damage for having eaten you. and if its a gank, gl getting away.
