What am I doing wrong as Kindred?

I know I've only played her twice but I can't seem to carry for the win despite 'getting fairly ahead' Can anyone gimme some advice? e.g. builds, runes etc I'm running Predator to help my ganking power but I've heard Press The Attack is also very strong on her too

Not sure whether I should link my match history or whether it's searchable...

Pretty sure she's just weak at the moment. I tried her, and I watched Dyrus play her a couple times. Not really in a decent spot.

Kindred has been in a bad way for more than a year now. Her kit is a train wreak, and until it gets a major rework there is not much hope for her.

Don't listen to the naysayers. Kindred is perfectly balanced and is in a very good spot right now, being one of the highest win rate junglers in ranked Korea and still pretty good in NA too (as of right now).

They take a lot more practice than 2 games. But Press the Attack is probably the best choice, it seems perfect, i definitely wouldn't use predator. Go Warrior enchant for your jungle item with the red smite. Do not use bloodrazor, it is extremely bad on kindred now.

Go Warrior, IE, Stattik Shiv, Rapid Firecannon, these are the core items, along with boots. You last slot can be changed each game. A GA against high damage enemies or Black Cleaver against a tankier team. Could also go Mortal Reminder if they have stuff like Vlad.

You're very strong in the early levels and can pull off first blood ganks pretty easily. But after that, you'll be kind of weaker until later in the game. Once you reach full build with a decent amount of marks, you're able to 1v9 pretty easily.

Start bot side, then wolves, then top side buff. Save smite for second buff. Then your mark should be just spawned, go to it, you can fight off most enemies but don't die for a mark.

Never die for marks, unless you could also get a kill for a trade or something out of it. Marks are more of a fun little boost than your actual scaling, now. fter 4 marks, you don't need any more. Just get them when they are available. It takes a lot of practice to understand when you can get marks, what the timing is on champion marks, and which champion to mark, etc.

The rest is practice and being a good jungler in general.

  • Diamond Kindred one trick. 54% win rate with over 1,000 games played in ranked on Kindred. I did that when they were objectively underpowered, too.
