Does the time at which I play my placements matter?
Last season I played my placements really late, and I jumped up 2 ranks after going 7-3. People are saying the reset is the same as last year, so I was wondering if I could duplicate this feat.

Live2LetDie1 votesThe only difference is you will be playing against people more your rank. plats are placed in gold, gold in silver, etc.. right now so you most likely will play against people higher than you.
daemanic1 votesi feel that waiting at least a week or 2 into the season gets me used to the big changes in the last few patches and helps me build a confidence with champs and items per the changes and such and it seems like after a few weeks the afk and trolls slow a little
