I had the misfortune of dealing with Inting/Pushing Sion back to back. (and lost most of the base)

How is this not toxic game design? Yes you can ban him but that only temporarily solves the problem when I really wanted to ban out someone I didn't want to deal with in bot lane.

Personally I don't need advice since I just wanted to rant and vent. There's probably counter picks to it but fact is, once the map opens up Sion will just ult to the nearest tower, dies, and pushes endlessly while spamming down ZZrot portal without interacting with anyone the whole game. That's just it, Inting Sion is a non-interactive game gimmick once the first tower falls.

It's not fun, it's not interesting, and it's just a poor experience overall. I was actually pretty close to just quitting league just because of how badly this left me feeling when I was doing well and all your work gets undone by a Sion that literally just has to run it down a lane and die over and over for a tower regardless of how well or badly he's doing. It's not a rewarding experience at all.

I know banning is 100% the solution to anything you don't want to deal with but having to put it on a permaban status personally seems to put a dent in the overall experience.

Rant done, feel free to flame and ridicule me for complaining about this like many others.

Known issue, riot has actually received multiple tickets and everything about this, they don't care. they view their fuck up as part of the meta.

I totally agree with you about inting Sion. I also want to point out how many unfun things there are to fight against like Akali, Irelia, Sion, I know a ton of people hate Yasuo, Kassadin, Pyke, and to an extent Darius and Aatrox. I just hate how banning is the only way to deal with things like this, and Riot does nothing to improve the majority of players' experiences.

I'd just love to have this addressed sooner than later, either have his passive decay faster under enemy towers, reduce the passive damage to towers, or just change it entirely. It just gets my blood boiling whenever I see a Sion now because you can already tell yourself that he won't interact with anyone the whole game and just force it down to a slow trickle of a base race until all your base falls.

The best counter to it is actually pretty fun to play.

Conqueror Nocturne top. item 3153 item 3071 item 3124 item 3508 as the core itemization. If Sion goes for an objective, ult to him, and keep him permanently feared via Essence reaver. He wont be able to do anything.
