being first pick is shit.

The fact that you lose if you arnt last pick means one of two things...

1. You are not skilled enough at your role or champion and have to rely on the chance that they pick a champion you can play against. This is probably due to you dont even try in those lanes.

2. you lose your sh*t after being "counter picked" and so you play worse, thus you play worse and lose. So you never get better and you never learn how to deal with those champs.

There is no ACTUAL evenly skilled players, there will always be people who play better and some that play worse.

First pick lets you get your comfort pick. Last pick could screw you over by you picking that champions "counter" like what happens every time i first pick blitz and the enemy team grabs sivir and morgana..... they often jump the gun and i wait, then i yoink them the second their shields wear off. Its funny to me when people cant play the "counters" but they play them just because they are "counters"

First pick gets priority on a champion that may be "busted". In exchange, the other team does get a "counter" final pick.

Personally I love first pick.

Gives me the ability to pick broken champs (which is also an extra ban) Gives me the ability to secure picks for me team. Gives me the ability to pick a strong champ based on what the other team banned.

Nope, as jungler main who have a lot of toplaners on the jungle, i can bait picking garen, then swaping to jax, wukong, camille, and the enemy thinks im the toplaner so they try to counter jax, and then my team counters that pick

Well, when I get first pick, I like to ask my teammates if there are any champs I can lock for them, as long as said champ doesn't get banned. Some take me up on the offer, some don't.
