Let's All talk Here Now....
Alright, so its very apparent that the entire community, the "vocal minority" that is, that people are downright frustrated and angry about Riot's decision for the Solo Queue removal. Now I'm going to say this right now, I'm not a player who does Ranked at all, not even in the slightest bit unless my friends really, really want to. However, I feel that there should be a discussion made that just talks about the Solo Queue removal and inform the rest of the community as to the problems that are behind Riot's decision as well as the benefits, if there are any since I can't really find much on that.
Anyway, I want to start off with the fact that I feel there are still PLENTY of players who have no clue on the difference between Dynamic Queue and Champion Select which are completely separate things. From what I know, Dynamic Queue deals with how people are "queued" with others, both solo's and Ranked. Champion Select only deals with just being able to choose your lane and role, and that's pretty much it. Those were put into really, really simple terms but just having to explain that I feel makes this much easier for those who don't know understand the consequences of Dynamic Queue much better, in my perspective.
The next one, and I think many of us can agree with, is the fact that we have practically no responses from Riot on these posts which a majority of them are about the deficiency that is Dynamic Queue. For both sides of the argument, I don;t think any of us here on the boards have actually seen a Rioter's response towards these posts. I honestly think that a response from a Rioter, any Rioter, would definitely help in stabilizing the temper of the vocal community which is downright pissed at the moment. Just having someone from Riot responding to these posts, to me, tells me that there are Riot members who do actually care about the community and not blatantly ignoring everyone and the issue that the community has.
Yes, I know there are Rioter's who do care but can't respond for a variety of reasons, but there has to be SOMEONE who can just come to these posts and just say "Yeah we screwed up, but we are doing are fucking best to fix it," or even "I agree, there are a lot of problems with it." Just having a response from a Rioter to these posts that have displeasure with Riot's Solo Queue removal decision can do wonders for some of us, if not, at least me and tells me that Riot has members who do care about the community.
I know that there are a lot of different aspects and arguments of Dynamic Queue and Solo Queue removal, but these are the only two things that I can think of the moment that I believe that people don't tend to think of or just aren't informed are realize is a major deal with the problems at hand. In the end, I want to help inform the community that cares little or at all or those who just don't know what the problems are that and having this post that people can come and have the community members who do know what to say and who do know of the problem at hand help inform the others that don't know or maybe convince them that this is a problem and we need Riot to do something about it.
