when i get client bugged and lose LP

my client legit bugged out after i first pick ziggs mid, so i unplug my battery laptop and restart my cpu immediately which takes about 4 minutes to get league client back up and running. When my client bugs out before all champs are selected and i immediately dc why does the game still start and i lose 20 some LP for no reason. Fuck you.
