level one karthus ulti does like only 250 damage(+60% AP) before reductions and cooldown is 200 seconds. Early game, you don't have that much AP cause you need tear and shit, so that cooldown is just too long, lower the cooldown pls.
It also gives him free assists + kills on a crosswide map that can almost never be dodged.

So you're saying his ult can guaranteed hit 5 targets for 250(+60%) without fail and it's not good as is? You can't say it doesn't do much because 'you need tear and shit'. That's a build choice you made, not part of his kit.
As a Karthus main, I really, really, really, really would hate this idea. The result would be Karthus becoming more popular and then inevitably being nerfed again. Please leave him as is. I'm already scared for his well-being since he was played some in LCS.
