Lux is just ridiculous right now. The combination of her slow, snare, and ult have made it so that people who have never played Lux before pick up 20 kills in a game. The 50 second CD on her ult means she can just spam it in combination with her slows and snares. All of her skill have tremendous range which means she is a very low risk champion as well. It's just impossible to play against her with her current setup.
shes at exactly 50% winrate right now and peaks out at 52% on experienced players, which is still kindof low.
if riot would evaluate her right now like they did the champions they touched for the worlds patch, they would give her another buff.
Doesn't she have enormous Mana costs on all of her abilities? Dodge her combo a few times and maybe you will actually beat her.

Lux has no escape.....so it's easy to kill her. I am a Lux main in Silver rank. I love her, but I am aware of her weaknesses. She's not OP at all. There are way better mages than Lux. She is fun though.

. Good Lux players will try to stand at a distance where those with a gap-closer wont be able to jump on them. If you jump on her, then her team will jump on you.
I find it funny that you are complaining about a champion being safe, low-risk and kiting opponents from a massive range when you were playing Caitlyn that game.

How to play against Lux:

No escape??? She slows like a beast and has her snare. Not only that, but she can kite from a mile away. Her ult has a 35 sec CD with 30% CDR - so it's spam city with that. If the fact that "she is slow" is her weakness, they need to make her immobile.
